The harness just doesn't fit him. He is 18.5 kilos and is 66cm around his girth so therefore a size M. Even with both areas adjusted to the max, his girth is way too tight. I loosened the front section right out thinking it might sit further back and allow the girth strap to loosen a little, but it didn't make any difference, the front was just loose. Also, this business of personalising with velcro attachments causes problems with the adjustments. When I tried to adjust the straps, the velcro peeled off which means the harness is now damaged and I assume can't be returned.
